M2c running hot, and producing white smoke

Hi, I have a m2 competition 2020 mod with around 11000km on the clock. I live in Norway so the temperature is around 37F (3C) now. I have noticed that the car suddenly started running hotter, and producing more smoke when it got colder. If I drive the car in sport plus the temperature will sitt at around 217F (103C) with normal driving, it will get hotter when spirited driving. It also comes a lot of smoke from the exhaust when standing still, and revving, even if the engine is at running temperature. If I accelerate it will also come some smoke. I have checked the coolant, and it doesn’t seam like it has gone down. The car runs does not show any error messages. Does anyone know if this is normal for the s55 engine in cold weather, or what it could be?
Many thanks

"Smoke"?

Do you mean water vapour or oil or fuel fumes?

When the engine and exhaust is hot there should be no visible emissions even at or below zero degrees C in my experience.

Did it run at 103before? That is normal for mine.

It Looks like it is water vapor, But it does not go away no matter how long it is being driven, and is producing quite a lot of vapor. It ran at around 90C when I got the car in July.
Many thanks

Its strange because it has been like this for a month now, and I haven’t seen other m2c with this much vapor coming from the exhaust

That is not hot. Running hot is when the temperature runs way past normal operating in normal driving situations. So that's well above 120*C.

White smoke eh? I think this is vapour (which would appear more significant the colder it is outside and the hotter the exhaust is). If you are still concerned, watch your coolant level. ACTUAL white smoke is burnt coolant. Your car ACTUALLY running super hot could be indicative of a head gasket leak. NOT particularly likely at all in a new BMW but you could watch your coolant level.

I'd check the charge air cooler. That is known to leak on S55.

+1 Take a scientific approach to measuring your coolant levels. Everything you said makes me think there's a crack in your charge cooler.
