Hello, so I am about to finish my RB two install and I'm already thinking about more power...stupid brain, but indulge me please. Anyway, I am limited to pump gas and am curious as to how far I could get with a meth kit? I believe I will be making ~500whp on 21psi, and these turbos are rated for 475-525 efficiently. Elsewhere I saw a guy make 550 on 22 psi, but I believe he was on E. What would meth+pump+25psi look like ?
Also how is owning a meth kit? What is monthly cost for boost juice? How often do you have to refill the tank? Is it a PITA? Thanks guys! |

I have the AEM meth kit with a 1.15 gallon supplied tank. I'm running it with the BMS BM10 nozzle. The kit is great. I tried 50/50 boost juice, but I think it's window washer fluid in a red colored formula lol. There's a local shop that sells meth for $2.00 a gallon so I take a 5 gallon race fuel container and fill it up once a month. I run a 80/20 mix with a E50 blend in my fuel tank so I can't speak for pump fuel and meth, but it made the worlds difference. My high pressure fuel pump is happy and the car overall is boost and timing friendly. You should mix your own 50/50, but if you're running pump I would definitely run a mix similar to mine just to get a more octane bump. Maybe around summer time I'll kick it down to a 60/40 mix. As far as filling up the container it really matters on how you drive. I think a tank of meth lasts me for about 2 weeks since I don't really drive nuts on a daily, but don't let any of this discourage you because the car will drive and make more power with meth on those RB turbos regardless of what mix you use and get tuned.

It's hard to guesstimate, but RB 2's listed on the RB website states: Recommended for 475-525whp goal. Your best bet is to get dialed in and hit a dyno after. Just curious, but who will be your tuner?
