Well we picked up our new ride. She is a blast to ride in. Can't wait till summer so we can really test her out. These Pirelli scorpion winter tires stick really well.

congrats! What is the dealership experience like up in AK, I assume they tailor their inventory to fit the climate and roads!

4151zero, the dealership is excellent! Mark the sales manager is super knowledgeable and a ton of fun to chat with. He's been to numerous BMW events and constantly pushes to make all M models xdrives. The dealer does seem tailored for Alaska; every bimmer I've seen here are xdrives.

Hopefully we'll find out soon the weather is playing games with us and it is super icy right now. But I am amazed at how well these tires handle the roads. On our big infiniti QX we run studed tires and these scorpions are studless and handle just as well.

Congrats. I was surprised by the XDrive in the BMW altogether. So you will love it as well.

Cool! Did they leave the shipping blocks in or are those tires smaller diameter? Looks like increased fender gap there.
