2021 M440i Log- OEM Exhaust Sounds

Limited crackles and pops so far, almost non existent. The actual exhaust note is fine but flat, lacks the character. Synthetic cabin sounds are dialed in lol.

With the changes to tuning, not expecting any drastic differences later on.

Will update at mileage increments - Ex. 300mi, 600mi, 1k mi etc. and see if there is a “break in” change.

Love the m440i in spite of the Darth Vader grill Does the DTune work on the 2021 as well (should be the same car) ... how about the JB4 for the B58 series? Doesn't mention the G22 but it does mention the 2020 m340i....

Good luck although unfortunately there's gonna be 0 difference.They all have a 48V hybrid system and they got detuned heavily as the new M4 came out + "emissions".

the new M3/M4 are heavily restricted sounding too. The EU versions sound worse than the m440i IMO. I think they're just moving away from the pops and bangs since there seems to be a split in the community about them.
