How much should it cost to install a turbosmart bov

I got quoted 4 hours of labor at a very reputable BMW specialty shop. Almost $450 usd including tax. I am up in the pacific northwest.

How much should it cost to do anything on your car is a question that will not have a standard answer. Two separate dealers on the same street may charge different for the same job. So shop around and pay what you think is a good balance of fair price and reliable work. I'll do it for $100 even though I have never installed one before. How hard can it be...

It takes about 2-3 hours to install it, the place where it's located is a absolute shitshow to install. My garage I went to took about 2.5 hours-3 hours to install, they also had to remove the waterpump to do so, to make it easier.

I wonder if its just the bov or he is getting that excited about the downpipe? I already have all the FBO and the BM3. Will the BOV really make it that much better?
