Map update / carplay activation

I've only had my f36 for 2 weeks so so learning. This forum has been amazing already. I sourced a carplay activation from a well known website and its working brilliantly. I've also just downloaded the new 20-23 maps from BMW (the subscription expired yesterday). Question is will the map update affect the carplay activation in any way? Just checking there's no reset of codes etc Thanks
