Coolant leak help
Was driving my e91 after it being parked up for awhile, and the low coolant popped up yellow which turned to red. I pulled over and coolant was leaking from this part pictured here. Not the actual hose, but the piece that it’s attached to. Anyone know name or part number

Is this it? https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...er-17127531579
Recommend going to www.realoem.com, entering the details of your car, and verifying the location/looks/part-number of the needed part. The hose and that plastic fitting are one piece.

You sure it was from there and not trickling along the side (remember force as you drive forward) and down from a fissure on the radiator outlet? Just saying this because I just went through this. Otherwise, I can tell you its going to be hard to find the o-ring for that one (Which would be a better course of action). BMW likes to just sell the whole hose on most of their coolant parts. Only o-ring they readily sell is the tranny cooler hose one that plugs into the radiator.
If you get desperate and don't want to buy the whole assembly (as I think that's part of the spider), then there are some ebay auctions out there with the o-rings for the whole system. |
