Tire wear/alignment question

Since it's probably tire and suspension I threw this in general- feel free to move mods.

When I took my tire off I noticed this extreme inner shoulder wear on my rear drivers side MPSS tire. I had an alignment done as part of my CPO purchase process by BMW and I have not hit anything that I would think could cause this- especially considering this looks like extreme negative camber wear. If I were to smack a curb I would expect positive camber and outside shoulder wear. I have no problem getting an alignment, but I'm concerned something else could be at play here. When visually inspecting the rear wheels there's no discernible difference in tilt from left to right and only the drivers side has this wear.

how many miles since alignment was done? did you see the tires condition prior to purchase of the car, if so how did it look compared to current pic? How many miles on the car?

it does look like wear due to excessive neg camber, tho improper toe can also cause this, or be contributing factor.

got a pic of the other tire?

if it's only one tire wearing like this it is either misalignment or suspension issue- perhaps worth another alignment check before you look at other possible causes.

Maybe 10-12k miles. The tires were brand new when the car was purchased. The other tire looks like it is wearing perfectly. That is a replacement tire as the original one got a puncture that couldn't be repaired, however this was only a few months after purchase so they both have about the same central tread depth.

I guess I should put it in the air and inspect some of the suspension on that side for any obvious signs.
