Ambient lighting
Hi guys. Just got another 420d (16 plate )
I can't get the ambient lighting to work. Its on in the idrive menu set to high. Sport or classic selected no lighting tho. Was wondering if this could be coded to switch on thru bimercode. Or has anybody 3 this issue. Maybe it didn't come with ambient lighting but the lights are there in the door panels and cup holder light also there. Thanks |

Ambient lighting on the 4 series didn't get too bright until the "G" series, its really is very subtle, as in only visible when dark, and even then, its extremely subtle so you and other drivers are not distracted. You want brighter....have to go aftermarket....

Cup holder light? So it's a pre LCI? They are very dim ggrcrash is right. The LCIs are a bit brighter. Did you find S563 (Light package) in you VIN?
