BMW oil part number for G05 40i

I just had an oil service done on my G05.

The part number and description they used for the oil is:

83-21-2-463-674 BMW group LL-17 FE+ 0w-20

I cannot find any information on this oil.

Two questions:

1) Have any of you had BMW put 83-21-2-463-674 BMW group LL-17 FE+ 0w-20 oil in during your G05 oil service?

2) What other oil has BMW used on your G05 for an oil service?

Thanks!

According to the user's manual, that is a suitable oil spec for the 40i engine, but I'm not sure the 0-20w oil versus the 0-30w is the better choice for your area. The manual lists three LL specs that are suitable for the 40i (and 45e) engines, and both 0-20 and 0-30 weights. Don't know the specifics on this engine, but the lighter weight oil is often spec'ed for colder areas, but may be entirely suitable for this engine. SF certainly isn't like northern Minnesota , or Alaska, but it's also not the middle of the desert in Arizona, either. The later specifications may provide all of the protection at 0-20w as the 0-30w did on older specs while providing less drag in the engine.

The manual says that BMW now recommends Shell oils. For years, they used Castrol. Don't know why they changed.

LL-17 FE +

83-21-2-463-674 Tried to track this part number down and it is only available in bulk, so I couldn't order 1 or 5 liter bottles

I'm curious myself. i've been doing research on which oil to use and it seems like it needs to be either 0w-20 or 0w-30 but it leans towards 0w-20 and needs to meet the BMW LL17 FE+ specs.

The only oils that I could find that matches the weight and BMW spec is the OEM oil part number 83212461988 and LiquidMoly Toptec 6600 LM22046.

I was wondering if anyone has used the LiquidMoly oil in their B58 engine.
