Silver box behind headlight
Hey everyone,
I’m new to this and not particularly good with cars. I went to change my dipped headlight on my F30 320d, thinking it was a straight bulb swap, however when I removed the cover there was a silver box and two power adapters (see photos). Can anyone advise what this is, and what the bulbs are likely to be? |

Sorry I know this isn’t much help, just trying to figure out whether it’s likely the bulb or a fuse that’s gone, and what type of bulbs these are. |

And to try to answer your question about whether it's a bulb or a fuse. With that setup, it's either the bulb or a bad ballast. You could try plugging the bulb into the side that works and see if it lights up. Last edited by bpwj76; 10-06-2020 at 01:47 PM.. |
