F97/F98 "On The Fly" 2WD conversion is live!

Since we have announced the 2WD conversion few months ago, the most common question has been: "How soon will it be released?"
After lots of testing and final dialing in, this conversion is available to all our customers. All flashable over OBD2 port using only eNet cable and Windows laptop.

Once your vehicle is flashed, you will get an option in iDrive to set your vehicle into 2WD mode (only with DSC off).

Link to the flash:

Quick Video of flash in progress as well as final outcome:

Wonder if the MPGs get better with this, also can 2WD mode be selectable with any of the M Buttons?

Thanks
JC

Is it fully off as in no driver assistance at all?

Is it the same way for the M5?
