New X5M Comp - Discounts?
My X5M and wife’s X6M leases are ending in the next 90 days. Wanted to check to see what discounts are currently available on the new X5M and X6Ms. Will be purchasing both cars at the same time.

I think it really depends on which region you are from. Seems like those in the North East gets bigger discounts than those out West. I'd say shoot for minimum of 7% off MSRP before any incentives and it can go as high as 10-11% from what i've seen brokers advertised.

I just got 8.5% off and a shockingly strong trade in for '21 X5M Comp. This was from a smaller dealer so I would imagine larger dealers get a larger AVP incentive and would go deeper, but I was very happy with this.

There has been a significant increase in new inventory recently, over 120 '21s and a few 20s for sale on cars.com, all of these should be going at 10% discount or higher by end of the year, a great time to lock a good deal on them.

depends on the region like stated above. Also allocation are key if you want to order. Incentives are regional still, so some regions wont see the same incentives.
also like I stated a few times in other threads. The % off MSRP is just part of the deal. You need to look at the whole deal. If you lease, whats the money factor looking like, what are the fees? lot of times you get your discount sucked up by mark up of these items and you dont even realize it. good news is you have a great forum here so I would suggest you get a full breakdown quote and post it up in one of the pricing threads to see what others think. Happy hunting

My dealership for same MSRP, same residual jacked the money factor and only discounted 4%, and price came to 1870 a month. I told them I had a deal at $1,500 and they said there's no way, that has to be on $7,500 miles. When I laid out the deal for them, they wouldn't come down and told me to go pound sand. The $1,514 is actually WITH W&T protection and lease end insurance. |

I currently have a 2018 X5M that lease expires at the end of the month and on a 117,995 (the old 123,795 loaded spec), I am at $1,564 including taxes, W&T and Lease End protection and I really didn't do much negotiating. I wish I would have because I would have saved a few hundred a month had i gone through a broker on this car. I was skeptical at first but the process has been so easy, haven't even had one call with the dealership, just paid a $2,000 deposit directly to the dealership via Docusign/CC. Essentially what they do is have a super good relationship with the dealership, send them a ton of clients, so they give them a set amount off, base money factor, and no BS. You'd be surprised some of the deals, I.e., M8 Comps that have 155 stickers for $1,300 a month no money down, etc. The fee ranges from $300-$600, but you'll make that back in 1-2 months. For 10k/36, you should be around $1,375 before taxes. |

It seems lot of the 10% off deals are on east coast
I just picked up a 2021 x5m comp. 122k msrp only able to get 6k off msrp. I also had a trade and they did come up 2k more on trade from original offer. But in Seattle area no one is budging. One dealership told me msrp |
