Adaptive LED package turn signal malfunction

Hello, I have a 2014 435i Msport with the adaptive LED lighting package and my right front turn signal does not work at all when trying to use the indicator. However, when I first unlock my car or use the hazards, it works perfectly.

I've purchased another used whole headlight assembly and it still has the same issue. I'm thinking it must be something to do with the coding on the car. Not sure where to go from here.

Could be the stalk... It's the least common denominator...ISTA would be useful here

Did it work before and then stopped? Have you done any coding? If you haven't done any coding that can't be the problem. If you did code and it stopped working immediately after that then it is something you coded.

It can't be the stalk because the turn signals work on the mirror and tail light but they have hyperflash now. No coding was done prior to having the issue.

The headlight was replaced due to a crack in the lens but all original modules have been transferred to the replacement assembly.

appreciate your help!

Sounds like a bad connection or damaged wire given the replacement of all items.

Thanks for your input, even if they work perfectly when I first unlock the car? The hazards work too, but once I try to use the turn signal, the hazard on that lamp no longer works unless I restart the car or unlplug/replug in the headlight.

Hmmm,,, my bad I mis-interpreted that,,, This does sound very strange. What happenes if you put the old units back in? Does it all work perfectly again?

No, it only works when I first unlock the car and don't start it.

Could it be a blown fuse? I'm not sure if the hazard lights on that headlight would still work if it were a blown fuse, but just a thought...

Get the codes checked in ISTA or some other tool, nobody here can tell you what the problem is but your car can.
