I've read somewhere here that the M-Sport Package on a 40i comes with the M exhaust but don't see anywhere on BMW's build configurator/literature that it does come with a different exhaust/muffler.

Can someone confirm please?

1MA M Sport exhaust system is not available on 40i model nor part of the ZMP M Sport Package option.

1MA is only available and standard on the M50i.
