Satin Black F90 M5 Build

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Hey guys, you might have seen me on the F80 M3 forums. I just purchased a brand new 2020 F90 M5 for my wife so now we have two //Ms. About 12 hours after getting the car from the dealership, we took it to SSR Performance to begin the modifications. Actually, a few weeks before we even purchased the car, I had already put a deposit down on most of the parts as I did not want to wait at all for the cosmetic mods to begin. Here is the list of what has been done so far and some accompanying photos:

- Satin Black Wrap
- RW Carbon Front Lip
- RW Carbon Rear Diffuser
- RW Carbon Front Grille
- RW Carbon Trunk Spoiler
- H&R Lowering Springs
- Black M5 badge
- Exhaust tips painted black

I want to thank SSR performance and especially Shah for the absolute perfect wrap and overall just unparalleled level of effort they put into details on this car to make it all perfect. Going forward, I have quite a bit of mods left including performance, exhaust, wheels (21's)/tires, spacers, etc. I ordered HRE Flow Form wheels Champagne Gold in 21' size and they should come soon. I am also open to any mods you guys think would be worthwhile. Cheers.

Great looking car. Where in Cali did you get the wrap and how much did it cost? Thx.

Yes I'm hoping the satin gold color will work well. Also I'm hoping 21's add a much better look rather than the stock 20's

Looks great. What made you choose the mods over the M5 comp, which has most everything already (except the wrap)?

Really great question. I thought about that a lot before I made a move. The Comp isn't lowered enough to where I got it at with the H&R Springs. The Cf Spoiler, rear diffuser, front spoiler; and grille are much better than the stock look. Plus if you're willing to modify the exhaust or anything, then comp doesn't sound any better.

Man, I've been thinking really hard about making a move to satin black. You may have just pushed me over the edge...

How about the BMW M performance upgrade instead of RW?

Minus the lower bits hanging below the rear diffuser, it looks good.

Looks great. Interested to see it with the gold wheels. Should really pop against the satin black.
