Hey guys, my 2021 M5 is arriving in 2 weeks and I don't know what exhaust to put on the car. Any recommendation? I personally like deeper sounding exhaust vs high pitch

For a deeper exhaust sound I'd say try Remus, Capristo or Eisenmann.

I haven't heard AWE in person, so I cannot comment on how it sounds.
However, I did hear Akrapovic on the M5 and I didn't like it. It sounded "tin-like", which is how a lot of people describe it.

I have Remus on mine, sounds deep to me and whoever heard my car. Know a few people with Akra and it sounds great too.

I have had all the brands mentioned in this thread plus a GT haus meisterschaft. Currently have akrapovic on my M2C, my cousin just installed his on M8C... to me it’s the best sounding because it has absolutely NO drone at all... picking up an X5M for the wife in a few weeks and will be getting Akrapovic for it too. It’s not cheap, but worth every peen for its versatility and quality.

Not to mention it sounds awesome!!!

REMUS sounds the best in my opinion and it's got the deepest tone with zero drone.

To answer your question, in my personal opinion Akrapovic sounds better than AWE

I've heard a lot of good thing about AWE, and upon checking YT for videos I can say that it product an aggressive sound which you may want.
