19" or 20" Wheels
I am considering replacing my 18" M Sport package wheels with OEM 19" or 20" wheels. Does anybody have any experience with either size wheels with the non-adaptive M sport suspension?

chris_1129 Did you ever upgrade your wheels? I'm interested in changing 18" 790M to 19" 791M and like you I also have passive M Sport Suspension. Wondering how much it will affect the ride comfort

I think 19's are the perfect size for the G20 for a nice OEM look.

Well this depends on what sort of ride and how deep are your pockets. Although wheels are getting much larger and so are the tyres...
We all need ask ourselves is it worth paying nearly £1,000.00 to change all of your tyres if you was running xDrive? Plus depending on where you live, the road surfaces across the UK are getting worse. Imagine driving into one with 20" wheels and buckling them. I think I will put my head into my hands and cry!!! However, I think the roads in HK are as soft as a baby's bum so you should be ok!! |

I have the non adaptive M Sport suspension with the stock Pirelli all-season runflats and 19" 791M wheels. Going from 18" to 19" will make the ride quality worse for sure but I think 19" is the perfect size for the G20 which is why I'm still sticking to 19's even with my new wheel setup. I don't mind the ride quality as it I like the feedback and feel that it gives you. If you want something softer and don't want to compromise ride quality, I'd stick with 18".
