Look in the pricing subsection. Depends greatly on your area/market. Some people are seeing MSRP while others 5-6% but are working multiple dealers and heavily shopping to get that type of savings.

When I bought my 2017, I knew it was going to be lost. For the heck of it checked my company’s intranet site where we get some discounts on mostly dumb stuff. I typed in BMW and lo and re was a $3500 discount through their corporate fleet program. Worth a try if you work for a bigger company.

My dealership has one coming in and he usually very fair on price. No one around here will be buying that before winter. He'll be selling it to another dealer guarantee. He's a friend, I'll put you in touch if you want. PM me

Consider looking around more. There are about 8 of us who have all purchased from here same contact in Mississippi. I’d be happy to put you in touch.

Glad you’ve have a similarly positive experience. Picking mine up in two weeks and road-tripping back to Texas. This is a discussion better suited for the Pricing/Ordering thread.

Is a couple percent off worth buying a car already on the lot? IDK but my guess is any M2C on the lot has had at least a few short mile (cold) hard test rides. I was happy to order mine at msrp (pre word crisis) and take delivery of it still in the wrapper, no dealer prep, no front plate holes, no butt dyno test drives. Piece of mind lasts longer than the sting of paying a few bucks more. Just an opinion.

I've bought demo cars several times. Actually, Inlease them. The biggest problem I've run into, and it's common, is fouled injectors. My guess is people don't put premium gas in them. Other than that, I've had no issues with demo. And they are usually a great deal. Definitely wouldn't pay proportional depreciation for the miles. It needs to be a strong discount.

As you see discounts are all over the place, and dependent on inventory and geography, and dealer size. Pre-covid my 2 large local dealers had 10-15 M2Cs between them, and were offering up to 10% off. Then during covid, as supply shut down, they were down to 2-3 cars and were not offering much of a discount. Today I see there are 9 in stock, which probably just arrived this week, so I'm sure discounts can be had again, especially as the economy slides into the shitter. Best approach is to find one with the right spec at a dealer that has many (be prepared to travel), and throw a number out there.
And given that the M2 barely has many option choices, its not hard to find one you'd spec yourself, so getting one off the truck with no miles is not hard. And no different from ordering one. |
