Need your rear wheel.

Hi All

Washed the car today and noticed that what appertains to be wires coming out of some sort of relay.

It look like the protective sleeve for the wires has some how broken off and just wondered if any of you guys have the wires visible on your cars.

The relay is on the drivers side rear wheel arch just behind the wheel. and just looks like a small black box the only reason I noticed it was the red wire coming out of both sides of the plastic sleeve.

I'm going to book the car in the Dealers next week for another job and just wondered if I should get them to take a look but just want ed to double check that its not normal and the housing has split.

Hope this makes sense.

Cheers in advance.

Looks like the housing holding the wheel speed sensor connector. Pop the little box open with the tabs and set the rubber neck into the groove and then close it again. That's all that needs to be done. It's not a big deal and even if water got in there the connector is weatherproof, so you're still fine.

Thanks for the reply.

Might get the Dealer to do it as the other issue I have is to do with the back wheels so can do it when they have them off the car.

Thanks Again
