Uneven badges

I noticed the X7 badges came uneven from the factory and now I can't unsee it.

I can't tell if it's the X or the 7 that is too high or low. Can someone measure theirs from the top of the trim to the bottom of the badges for me please?

It should be the same distance as the M to the trim below. Roughly 1.5". Definitely they stuck one of them, the X or the 7, wrong.

I guess this the reason I need to put on the black gloss IND badges I bought. Still debating whether they will look right or not.

I have a set of the black oem purchased in Europe inbound. They should match our shadow line trim perfectly.

I would bring the x7 back to my dealer and demand a full refund for the purchase price of the car plus 10%.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't the IND and the Euro ones you ordered both just painted OEM badges?

I have already sent back a 1st set of IND badges because of a very minor blemish so am just waiting on the replacement.

I do not think BMW makes actual OEM black badges for the X7 M50i but please let know if they do!

Thanks so much for these pics! Did they cut PPF around the badging? That's pretty cool.

I popped in the same SKUs at getbmwparts.com and submitted the order. No description in the listing but looks to be the same SKU. Hopefully they won't cancel my order and can get it state-side to ship out.

I did the same thing but they couldn’t get them.

Just as a public service.
No USA oem parts dealer can get these. I tried two different places and both had to refund me. I ended up having to buy them directly from Europe and have them shipped.

Mine are shipped through DHL now. I have a tracking#.
