intake charcoal filters
this morning I attempted to remove the charcoal filters in the intake box. after removing the box top on the passenger side and filter, I could not find any charcoal filter. only the paper filter was in there. I reached my hand down into the intake couldn't feel anything either.
from other users pictures, it would be located on the top of the box correct? I did not check the driver's side box. I have a US car so kind of confused now. any thoughts from other US owners that have opened their intakes? anyone have pictures of the filters found into heir boxes for comparison? |

In other cars its usually on the cover of the intake box. Here is a member removing it from his X5 M50i which has the same intake setup.
