F30 2017 320i kidney grille

Hey all.

Looking to get the blacked out kidney grille. Amazon shows a lot at pretty low prices ($40-60).

Anyone have any specific brand they can recommend that is good quality?

From what I've seen- people have successfully rattle-canned it with a high gloss satin rustoleum paint. I've used in on aluminum gun parts and it comes out great. Just a thought.

Would add that if you have a white car, you may notice the white undermount peeking out at the edges, but you have to look closely. Didn't think of this at the time but I imagine you can just fold black electrical tape over the edge or something while you have the grilles off.

fyi you do not need to take off the bumper or anything to get them out. work the tabs from the outside and keep a small bit of outward pressure on the tabs you released already. grill will pop right out.

DO NOT rattle can your grill. I repeat DO NOT rattle can your grill. Unless you like the look of silver speckles all over it in about 6 months.
