M2 CS delivery - Belgium (BSM - M-DCT - 2NH - BLK 763M - PSS)

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com

At last and after 3 months of delay my M2 CS has arrived at the dealership.

At the 'beauty farm':

Full XPEL + Gyeon Duraflex Quartz Coating:

August 2020: Small update after a first ride of 100km.

My first impressions (previous car: original M2 (2016)):

Feels really as a different car.
Suspension is a lot better on the road.
Car is a bit quiet at start-up but makes a lovely noise inside while driving.
Suspension is conspicuously less hard in comfort mode. Better cushioning.
S55 motor reacts more violently compared to the N55.
Car feels firmer and heavier on the road.
Steering is very direct and more precise when cornering with less cage roll on the front axle.
One of my concerns was the clearance of the CF splitter as we have a lot of speed bumps here. But so far no problems although I am a bit more cautious compared to the OG.
I prefer the steering in comfort mode. The sport modes are stiffer with too much resistance imho.
And of course much better seats.

Will be leaving the dealers place now for a week "beauty center". XPEL PPF and Gyeon Quartz Coating. First impressions later on...

Certainly not, the dealer knows it's not my style. Nevertheless it's leaving Friday for an XPEL PPF and Gyeon Quartz coating treatment.

Congrats that's what mine will look like.. I'm hoping we will get allocations someday here in the US. While your 3 month delay is tough imagine if you hadn't placed an order yet or better yet don't even know if you will get one..

*edit* CS allocation deposit since Oct 2019.

Congrats, Pol ! 1 of 131 for Belgium and Luxembourg.

At last. Quite a rollercoaster since September 2019.

Exactly the combo I would have chosen too. I'll check it out IRL someday later this year.

Drive it in good health.

The same predicament myself and other US customers are in. Hopefully the US allocation process will commence so people know where they stand. You would think it has to be either August or September when US dealers will get allocations.

Congrats. The best color combination in my opinion. Plus car looks good as you don't have to force yourself to tolerate it like the new M3/M4.

I also wondered about the wheel gap when I took delivery of my M2C: clearly more wheel gap than on my former M2. Fast forward to today: 10K kms and the wheel gap is less compared to the early days. The body has subtly 'sunk' a little.

And no, it ain't sitting on shipping blocks: see for example here and here.
