Dallas dealers and why I hate living here from a BMW purchase perspective

Dealer demo with 4K miles and they are only taking $4K off the MSRP. I offered 20% of all in. Offered either all cash or financing at .9%.

I think they'll laugh me out the email thread but we'll see.

Best of luck! I've had good experience browsing shopping at Sewell when I stopped through DFW on a trip, but haven't bought from them.

We've bought two vehicles from them in the past 14 months (one was a CPO). They're not known for negotiating for discounts (of course our X7 was a custom order, so wasn't expecting any discount), but other than that I prefer them to the other local choices. There are 2 others closer to me, but I'd rather go to Sewell.

$20K OFF here. $63K on a $83K MSRP back in May. Took of month of negotiating, but we were in full lock down in NC which I’m sure helped.

i bought mine at Sewell last year, custom build 2020, got 8% off plus some goodies (tint / all weather mats, side mirror reflections), and delivery to Houston. It all depends on who you talk to.

Could always setup a PCD for a custom build and make a trip out of it, doesn't matter where you buy it from as long as they could work out a remote delivery with finance (which I imagine they all figured out in the last couple of months).

I had a good experience with Momentum in Houston - got 10% off plus rubber mats and window tint. I live in Arkansas and did everything over email/courier and had them arrange delivery. Very easy process and fair deal, IMO.

I got ~10% off a demo (~3k miles) at Sewell that my wife fell in love with and we got a decent deal on her trade in the transaction.

We are a repeat customer (three prior 7 series) and service has been impeccable over the years.

I live In Atlanta and purchased the wife's 2020 X7 from Sewell. It was a demo with 4K+ miles. They just happened to have the exact spec she wanted. I was very pleased with the customer service overall and feel we got a good deal. They were great even with helping to facilitate the delivery. As it has been said though, it really is all about who you talk to. If you don't like the answer from one try another.

Feel bad for the Texas and Florida guys. 7-12% off MSRP seems to be the norm on the X7 in the Northeast - even on a custom order.

Yes, for sure. 13-15% is not that uncommon from my personal experience.
