When to buy Extended Warranty

Krislovesbmw Private 15 Rep 88 Posts Drives: 2013 BMW 528i, 2019 BMW X7 40i Join Date: Jul 2020 Location: Austin, TX iTrader: (0)	When to buy Extended Warranty Folks, I recently purchased the 2019 X7, my dealer didn't mention anything about extended warranty...I still have manufacture warranty till 04/2023. When is best time to get extended warranty from third party ? should I buy now with 2.9 years overlap ? or buy the extended warranty 3 months before expiring manufacturing warranty ?
