So i have looked all over google, gone back many pages in this forum but can not fins any info on swapping out my trans for a better one. Ive heard rumors of an F series swap but no write up. Does anyone have any info. My clutch plates from 3rd to 4th gear are slipping and im looking for a different option. Precision raceworks can rebuild mine with upgraded parts for $4k or i can buy a used one w a warrant and 40k miles on it for around $1200. These really look like my only two options.

Currently have Frankenturbos, jb4, mhd, xhp stage 3, vrsf fmic, metal charge pipe, gfb diverter valves, vrsf inlets, vrsf outlets, dci, brand new hpfp, upgraded oil cooler, brand new throttle body, upgraded trans cooler, pcv delete, catch can, kw v1, brand new trans solenoids and gaskets, and vrsf down pipes, i think thats abt it lol fuel and a custom tune are next after i get past this trans issue
