Choosing a catback exhaust.

I currently have catless downpipes and the car is fairly loud. Its only lacking on throttle so I wanted to see what catbacks people have paired with catless downpipes and how they've sounded. My other option was to just get a awe mid pipe non resonated. All responses are appreciated thank you.

Im on the same boat. I have upper and lower catless downpipes but feel like it can still use some growl. Seems like a lot of members here have the Remus exhaust. Lots of good deals for used ones in our area.

Yeah I've been considering Remus but a friend who had that setup wasn't too happy with the sound but if anyone has that setup and would like to post a vid I'd love to hear it.

My favorite is the REMUS

If you are replacing your downpipe, get the axle back. If you are keeping stock downpipe, REMUS catback sounds the best

Turbo blew

While driving 60-130Mph

Too much sauce on e30 tune

Actually think stock turbos fault because I was only targeting 25 psi, which isn't that aggressive

Wasn’t loud enough for him?
I’m looking for one too. I’m undecided between Remus and Gt haus.

Quite the opposite he said it sounded very raspy and extremely loud like obnoxious loud so I want to do my reader how before I invest in something that might not sound the best. Again this is paired with catless downpipes stock I know Remus sounds amazing.

I recommend the axle-back section only

Remus and Akrapovic sound great. What kind of sound are you going for ideally and how much volume? You'll find that you really won't hear much volume increase unless changing out the mid pipe or downpipe.

I've had a lot of great feedback with Remus with secondary downpipes. A good amount of volume, deep tone, not a lot of rasp.

I can upload a video later on tonight

I'm full catless currently and going for something louder. I'm looking for a cat back exhaust system.

If everyone is saying axle back is sufficient enough, I recommend you save yourself a little bit of money and get an axle back. Unless you're dead set on the catback.

The only reason I'm considering catback is because the resonator is restrictive and I've heard removing does increase performance and flames!

Take a look at iPE catback.

Great tone and exceptional build quality.

There are some pix and some videos on my build thread:
