setting keeps resetting to radio instead of presets

Every time I drive the car, I have to press the "mode" button repeatedly to cycle to "presets", even if I turned off the car with "presets" as the mode.

Whenever I get into the car again, it defaults to "all radio channels" and then I have to cycle through it again to get to "presets". Does anyone know how to keep it at what I left it on?

Mine will do that as well, but seemingly only after it sits for a day or so. It will not do it if I'm out and run into a store and back out - it will stay on presets.
Probably a glitch in the software that they still haven't figured out.

The m340 would do this periodically and the dealership was able to fix it. Sorry, don't know exactly what they did other than configured the settings.

On the subject, anyone NOT have a preset option? There is satellite radio, fm and connected phone but no preset.

I have it reset occasionally. There's no pattern that I can find to that happening. It's pretty random & it's a bit annoying. I'll ask the dealership to check if it goes in. I've had a rear differential something other other warning come up a couple of times, so I'm going to have to call them.

I did notice that this happened a few of times to me as well, but not always. I dont recall this happening with the F80 at all.

I haven't had a chance to mess with it to figure out why or a remedy yet, but an interim, slightly quicker solution to pressing the mode button until you scroll through back to presets, is to assign one of your numbered buttons to "presets".

Think you actually have to save some presets before the option is made available

Interesting to see that everyone else is having this problem and there is no solution. It is also intermittent for me. Sometimes, it stays on my presets.

I also never have this problem on my M4.
