Seat belt buckle question
Hi guys
While waiting for some take away food, noticed that there’s a strip of what looks like the soft half of a Velcro strip wrapped around the seat belt buckle. Looks like it’s to keep the buckle from making wear marks on the center counsel plastic. Is this stock or did the previous owner add it? Either way it’s a pretty good idea. Looked at my e46 and there’s wear marks from the seatbelt. |

It's stock. It's probably both to prevent wear marks in addition to preventing an irritating rattle from plastic-on-plastic contact. An example of a simple, cheap, effective solution.
