M2 brakes on a 340i work?

Hi all

Per title would a set of m2 brakes bolt right on a f30 340i or would knuckles need to be changed?

Thanks

I am pretty confident they will fit but I believe the 2 series has smaller pistons in the rear calipers. Check realoem.com before you buy.

The calipers will fit you need to buy the rotor for the F30.

Yes all of the M2 calipers will fit, even the 400mm fronts from CS. Again m2,3,4 all use the same brembo calipers as our F30 35/40i get in mperformance/msport 370/345.

The 6 pot calipers from the M2 Comp / CS will not fit on the F3x hubs - the OEM brackets foul on the F3x knuckle. You would need custom brackets to suit F3x to get it to work.

Also, if the OP is wanting to bolt on an full F87 M2 4 pot 380mm front / 2 pot 370mm rear brake set up - then no, it won't fit.

The calipers, as you say, are the same, but rotor fitment is different as the F3x is designed to use 370/345 and trying to put 380/370 rotors onto a F3x will not work.

Oh yes correct! There is a bracket needed just like the m5 calipers which we can use with the M2 CS rotors. Could the f10 and m2 cs use the same caliper?

The M2 Comp / CS use the same caliper as the F8x CCB, which was a slightly higher mounting point on the caliper body - therefore meaning the brackets that I had made for my F31 to use F10 M5 6 pots / 400mm M2 Comp rotors would not work with either the gold CCB calipers or the silver M2 Comp calipers.

It would need adjusting to have height removed from the bracket to accommodate the extra height in the caliper.
