I remember in wintertime some fellow 45e drivers posted their electricity consumption. Most including me were between 38 and 40 KWh/100 km.

Currently I am at 34,6 since 02/03/2020. Not bad. And still going down.

Much less longer trips due to corona. Almost 70 % electric drive. And all ICE on longer road trips and on cruiscontrole.

One of them in the Netherlands visiting my parents. Speed limit everywhere 100 km/h. Great for fuel economy. Horrible to drive, even on CC.

Sorry for the fingerprints, it's a user item. Don't have a cloth in my car.

I don't have the screenshots right here. But I have had an electricity consumption of 37.1 kWh/100 from march 3 - April 17th. Now since my last fill-up I am at 33.4.

In march the average speed was 57.3kph, and 3.5l/100km and more than 2/3 of the distance was on electricity.
Now the average fuel consumption is higher because of a bit more long highway stretches.

What don't you like about the way the 45e drives? Are you unhappy with selecting it?

No. The drive is great. I really like the electric drive in town and power of the six in line when needed. Great machine.

I was talking about maximum speed in the Netherlands.

Since a couple of weeks the speed limit on highways is reduced to 100 km/h max= 62 mph (6 am - 7 pm) in the entire country. It's horribly slow but good for economy.

Tell me about it. And all to save a microscopic amount of CO2, something like 0.07%

Well my fuel economy was at 8l / 100 km instead of 10. So it works. But it is so boring and takes ages to get somewhere. I will have to visit my parents after 19h from now.

Sure fuel economy is slightly better, but still. I'm just glad we have moved back to The Hague. We lived in Assen for 4 yrs (for work) just before the reduction in speed, and drove down most weekends to visit friends/family - driving that distance at 100 km/h would have literally killed me

Sorry to bring this up as its a couple of weeks old.
Does the electric mileage get better with driving style / summer/winter months?

Finally picked up our 45e today after a bit of a delay and although it has 100% charge, it shows less mileage than I expected.

Charged it up this evening after dropping the battery by 75%.. and its showing a fully charged at 35/36 miles.

That is quite low. Around 60 km. Usually I end op being able to drive 60-70 km electric on 100 charge. If only highway at 120-130 km/h it will be lower. today my full charge was showing 92 km (56 miles). It goes down quickly while driving and I never get that number of miles.

Just see what happens this week after driving and charging a couple of times.

What is your mean Kwh/100 km? I am at 32.9. And still going down.

I've had mine since March and to start with the charge was never above 33/34, now it consistently gets to about 45/46. I've never seen it above 50 though. I think your driving style does have an impact on the range it shows just like it does for the petrol range.

You have only driven 34 miles total. Maybe it's needs a bit of time?

Went up the mountains yesterday. 20 km only uphill. I had charged the battery to 25% which gave me 12 Km range.

I put it in sport.

Arriving at the station I had 1 km of range left. Quit steep up hill twisty roads. Nice to drive. Great in sport mode.

I didn't feel I was low on power.

I Belgium, on flat roads it keeps the battery charged for 8 km range.

Maybe next time I will try to have 50% before going up hill

I remember a forum member of the US asking about towing a trailer through mountains. I think it would be best to put it in sport uphill and safe battery downhill. And maybe try what charges best downhill sport or safe battery mode.
