Dealership Service Dept Recommendation

Noob question - wife and I bought a 2016 228iX last year and need to bring it in for final service under the COVID extended warranty period.
Can anyone share their service department experiences? We're in Cambridge.

Many thanks!

Although they didn't take me seriously when I was looking to buy my car (which is why I didn't buy either my car or my wife's car from them), I take our cars to Tully in Nashua for service covered under the free maintenance period. I've had no issues with them. It's a bit of a drive for you though.

Herb Chambers in Boston is closest to Cambridge, followed by either BMW of Peabody or BMW of Sudbury. I've never been to Herb Chambers or Sudbury, and I've never been to Peabody for service; I've only picked up parts there.

I go to South Shore BMW in Rockland, which isn't terribly far from you. They take care of my m240i (and my previous 435i) alright. Nothing spectacular, but they're fast and courteous enough. I had an oil change late March or early April and they were pretty safe about everything, plastic sheets and bags over everything and glove/facemasks of course.

My very good friend Adam is the svc manager at BMW Peabody (former svc manager of Sudbury and South Shore- was at ,my wedding, blah blah) and is a class act. Genuine gentleman and manages that way. His staff (my personal advisor Kay) are all great. Highly recommend the 25 minute or so drive to Peabody, and feel free to ask for Kay and tell her Ari says hello.

I live in Medford and take my car to BMW of Peabody, even though HC BMW is closer. Always been treated well there, and their Centennial Drive location is pretty convenient from 93.

Up in the Lowell area - Between my wife and I, we have owned 6 BMWs and have used the following locations:

- Tully used to be great but is horrible now (sales & service). Rude and communication is meh.

- BMW Sudbury service is excellent, highly recommended. They go above and beyond.

- BMW HC Boston - hit or miss service based on the SA you get. Place is a mad house too.

I've been getting my regular maintenance done at Tully. They've always been polite, but I can confirm the communication is poor. Either lacking or conflicting information provided.
