Garage List
Coasting and brake usage

Does anyone know if stepping on the brake while coasting engages regenerative braking first?
Otherwise, I feel that with ecopro mode, it would cost us more on brake than it saves the gas for us

Just keep in mind unless you have a hybrid or EV, your car does not actually recover electricity by coasting or braking.

BMW is using a fancy alternator that maximizes output when you're off throttle.
