Do our cars have a dipstick?

I kind of probed around our engine and the only thing that kind of looks like one is this (see photo).

I didn’t try pulling it as I wanted to see if this in fact our dipstick or just a cap for a dipstick (or neither). My Audi had a tube with a cap, meaning if you wanted to check your oil, you would either have to do it electronically or buy an aftermarket dipstick. I’m kind of a traditionalist and would rather check my oil the old fashioned way.
