Touch up Paint
Need advice on Touch up paint. Have a few chips. Do I go to dealer to fix or is it better to go to commercial body shop? Minor little things but I see them all the time now.

bodyshops can be hit or miss. And that goes for BMW as well. My advice, if it's a minor amount of chips, and barely visible, leave it be.
If not, hop on google, check reviews and go from there. Thats how most of my customers find me nowaddays |

Agree, it's all about paint matching. The biggest issue is getting a paint that matches, as even the BMW OEM in the "pen" isn't always 100%. If you do it yourself, I recommend using a needle to fill, then you can use a Langka blob type product (fresh paint removal)to smooth it down. Also, some detailers will do this if you ask. Then polish the top/level the top per se. Skip to 5:30 |
