Question Handsfree volume too low and can't turn it up?

07 e93 330i ccc paired with iPhone 7+

Hi All,
Can anyone solve this for me? On handsfree the volume is too low and I can't turn it up using the phone or audio controls. Been through all the menus and turned up the increase volume when driving/speed related thing to max but to no avail? I can hear it when I'm parked, but its too quiet when driving. I'm sure i'm missing something obvious here!?!?
TIA

I don't even known if it would help at all but there's this setting called speed volume which raises your volume the faster you go maybe you could mess with that. Hope you have iDrive because I have no idea how I would adjust it without the screen

I would maximize whatever your phones setting is for volume
then use the volume controls on the steering wheel to adjust
to your taste.
Are you taliking about for phone calls only or for streaming music
if you have that?

As ctuna suggests, try increasing the volume on the iPhone itself during a call or while streaming (as applicable). IIRC iOS has separate volume settings for each connected device.

Remember that you must turn up the volume on the car while audio for a particular function is playing.

So if you were trying to turn up navigation audio you need to hit the volume keys only as directions are being read out... etc.
