Fitting a mobility scooter into a 1 series
Just a query, I am considering a 1 series for my next mobility car.
With the dealerships closed in Wales I wonder if anyone in this forum could provide me with some dimensions? With the group of 2 rear seats folded (leaving the smaller one remaining), what is the remaining width available? I need a space of 90x41cm to slide in the main "frame" of the scooter. This would allow me to transport my scooter, plus 2 "passengers". Thanks in advance. John. |

Hi John,
I'll get some pics and measurements for you tomorrow. Just heading out now I assume the ask is can a frame the size you state 1) for through the opening 2) the store in the car seats down

Hi John.
Yes 90cm x 41cm profile would just fit. It's so close I would advise you will need to check to satisfy yourself but my opinion is it's not a wasted to a dealers to see. It's is tight. The opening is widest at the bottom and maybe 93/4 there at the wry top the boot with is sub 91 but of course you only need 41cm height profile which I think fits. Would be snug but actually there's sometimes benefit to that S it prevents lots of love and roll of things in the back. A Toutube channel worth checking I out might Auotfugel, the guys there get the ruler out and show you the boot dimensions etc.
