XHP for pre 03/2007

Tried to flash xHP today on my 09/2006 N54 and it keeps failing saying my bimmergeeks cable isn't working, yet I just used it to flash mhd. MHD wireless flasher doesn't work either. Cars dash is lit up and can't reflash. Any advice or is my car incompatible and needs remote coding?

xhp can't be flashed onto your TCU, you need to upgrade the hardware to the newer 03/07+ version to be able to flash xhp.

Not sure, I thought it wouldn't even let you connect it to your car/flash if you are pre 03/2007. I'd PM RBT-Tuning , they are the Xhp creators.

From my understanding xhp was very vocal and public about releasing support on pre 03/07 cars. Never personally tried it on any pre 03/07 cars but I have read on different xhp posts that they support it.

Update: see post here and go to last FAQ. https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1347613

Actually yeah you are right, I believe they just released the update for pre 03/2007 cars within the last few updates so I totally forgot about it.

RBT should be able to lead him in the right direction for a fix, most likely cable or device being used with failed flashes.

Is your battery charged/hooked up to a tender while flashing?

I was hooked up to a charger but great news- I tried a different device and usb to type c converter and after two failed attempts it finally flashed to stage 3. Thank you for the help!
