Absolutely smitten with this car. The performance of the M50i is savage and in the wet today was easily as quick if not faster than my M4. Sensational machine. Very happy and worth the wait!

Thanks gents! Very happy. The car is better than I anticpated......even handles well which is a surprise coming from 10 years of back to back M3s/M4s. Was expecting to have to reign it in a bit into bends but for a 2 tonne truck the car is extremely nimble.

Just need to sort out bloody AppleCar Play now as doesn't show in Apps or Media despite my iphone 8 being connected and music playing fine over bluetooth from the phone.

It was a must on my last two motors but it proved hard to live with and with a grandchild on the way and a small dog that refuses to wipe its feet before getting in, I decided my next motor must be dark leather

Thanks mate! Ironically I went the reverse - had black in my last 4 M3s and M4s! Fancied taking a chance and both our bulldogs will be confined to the boot so after the detailer has worked his magic next week the leather should be nicely protected. Also got a great boot liner for the dogs that fits superbly well.

You’re right about the lack of noise. The V8 has a nice classy rumble but a bit more exhaust sound is needed under load. Overall I love the car tho. Superb.
