M5 LCI review
Not sure if this was posted yet but a lot of information on the LCI:
- M8 gran Coupe electrical systems and damping - larger touch screen - Different steering programming - softer comfort mode is competition trim to have it more comfortable. https://www.motor1.com/reviews/42721...pdate-an-icon/ |

this came up yesterday buried in another thread... super interesting.
Would love feedback from anybody who has been in an M8GC on suspension feel vs the M5C... I for one would welcome a comfier comfort mode. Looks like we'll get all the details within 2 weeks. |

When I drive my M5 Competition in comfort mode the ride feels great, not to stiff. I am a realtor and I have many clients in my car and I have never received a single complaint about the ride comfort.

My bet its all a line of coding (steering/suspension) unless they changed parts. I doubt the brake modifications that is if the M5 gets the M8 braking systems can be coded as that has some hardware.

The steering feels a bit more natural and less rubbery (pretty much the only thing I didn't like about the pre-facelift M5).
Really? Well we will see if BMW is listening. |

so it looks like the '21 pricing and ordering guide is up. i do not see the M5 as having the laser lights specifically, yet on other models the code is different.
Does this mean they are not available? Different code? extra cost? any thoughts? |

I was thinking the same thing about the steering. It's the one thing that I'd like to change on my F90 M5. The steering is just god awful. Clarkson intimated that it has to do with something BMW did to dial out understeer in the car, but it's really wacky.

What is the big deal about the laser lights?
