[IMG][/IMG] Just out of curiosity, are these front M sport brakes that just aren't painted? If not, how can I tell?

Same caliper and pads, just shorter mounting ears. These only take 340mm rotors. They are more than enough for spirited driving and some track with upgraded pads and fluid.

So I can basically paint these the M blue color and get a set of M sport rear brakes, and they'll exactly look like the M sport brake kit?

Yup. That is the exact set up on the m235i as well. Many here do this as it levels out the car when breaking hard. Slap on 2piston tears and paint them all around. This is what I will do as well
