Undecided on this grill for my BSM M340

Undecided. I don't mind the cerium grey but this might look best...thoughts?

That’s my personal favorite. Even though I am generally a BMW purist, I do like the different grille on the M340 as opposed to the traditional vertical slats. This grille give the best of both worlds: Shadowline black for the frame, which is the majority of Cerium, while retaining the unique “whatever shape BMW calls it” centers with some Cerium to tie in with the mirror caps and lower trim pieces, and it also ties in to the silver/gray bits in the headlights.

That looks like an eBay find. Do you have the BMW part number?

Black looks way better than cerium.

Yes eBay - so I don't believe it's really OEM, rather aftermarket. No part number. Would prefer an OEM part from BMW.

If you have a shop that does wrapping, I would recommend you wrap the grill instead. I had them wrap the outer portion, similar to the picture you showed above. They also wrapped the bumper slit, the front and rear bumper reflectors as well...all that was done for $160.

That's my original grill, had the cerium outer edge painted gloss black.

Has anyone installed a carbon fiber grill? I've been following a couple of these threads while I try to decide and don't think I've seen one installed.

I suppose it could be, but no, I sent that and my lower cerium vents out and got it professionally done by IND

That's the M Performance one, I think the angle of the pic makes it more pronounced than it really is

I dont really remember, it wasn't cheap that's for sure, but they do great work. Maybe $200-ish between all the pieces. When painted reflectors are $100+, you're going to pay a premium for them to paint custom pieces.

It does as part of Exec package I think? I purposely did not get the Driver Assistance because I would never use it, and I didnt want that big thing on the bottom grill.

I attempted to get a quote for that and the shop in Buffalo, NY wouldn't do it because the grille takes the brunt of the weather. Probably wouldn't last but a few months before peeling.

I would try someone else. I've had mine wrapped for five months in FL and it looks great. Also, I've used the same shop and had a previous BMW grill wrapped and it lasted three years.

Either way, most shops have lifetime guarantee.
