Carbon Black, Arctic Grey, or Mineral White

hello...looking to get a G05 M-sport package but just can't decide between the three colors. Just wondering if those of you with these colors can share any experiences on the pros and cons of these colors.
Thanx for your input in advance...

I was in the same dilema! Finally decided on CB for my G06 i haven't received it yet, but after researching looking at videos, pictures. For me i think its the best color of them all, theres a Lexus LX park in my building garage and have a similar color to carbon black, looks awesome!

Mines mineral white with the full black pack and the additional carbon M Performance kit on it. Looks awesome I think and really shows off the body lines.

Carbon Black and Mineral white are a headache and pain to keep clean, I've owned cars with both and have spent lots of hours in the garage cleaning, polishing and detailing cars with these colours.

Also, white shows absolutely all imperfections, dints and scratches - so watch out for that one. CB is great at hiding imperfections but eventually shows swirl marks from washing and polishing.

I'm obviously biased - but Arctic grey is a very unique colour, looks light blue in good light, kind of a green/grey in the shade, dark grey at night. It hides dust, dirt and grime well. A very unique colour that turns heads...

Choice of colour is very subjective, and highly personal - so go and see them in person at the dealer, walk around them - and choose according to YOUR taste. Good luck !

I have Arctic Gray and absolutely love it. Has a beautiful blue hue to it when overcast or rainy. Problem for you is no Tacora Red interior available for the G05 and why I don't know. I have it with Piano Black trim and it really goes well with that combo.

Good photo section on the forum for actually seeing colors "in the wild" (https://g05.bimmerpost.com/forums/fo...play.php?f=745) and as noted very subjective. Still disappointed in BMW's palette (essentially black, shades of, and white, fewer shades of), but I chose AG and Ametrin for mine. Never have been fond of "pure" black or "pure" white, and AG is a great "chamleon" color - sometimes blue-green, sometimes blue, sometimes black.

If you get to see Arctic grey in person, you’ll decide in that moment

I was torn between Arctic Grey and Mineral White. Chose mineral white and have never regretted it. This car, with it's body contouring, and the Mineral White, is the perfect combo, IMO.

Always been impressed with the CB MystroX5. It's the blue equivalent of Ametrin IMO - looks black in shadow, but a completely different color in bright light. As opposed to Jet Black (which is black), Sapphire Black (which is black), or Dark Graphite (which is black).

I second CB. Can look very different depending on the light.

I have AG now om my g05 and I really like it. Shows less dirt than the CB f15 I had before. CB is hard to keep clean. But when it is clean it looks great.

I told myself I would never buy a white car but I must admit I really like the pictures of the ones that are posted on this forum. And as mentioned if you pick white extend black looks better.

If I had to do it over I would take AG again.

Tastes and colors however ...

Sorry to say but this is a daft question. Colour choice is purely subjective.

You probably already know that dark colours show swirls quicker, and lighter colour show dings easier. None of that matters though.

Just pick whichever colour you think looks best. There are no wrong answers other than picking something because 'someone else liked it'.

I picked white because the scratches are less noticeable and I can take it to the car wash.

White and silvers are the easiest colours to maintain and clean. The darker the colour the worse it is

As far as OP asked, it's subjective. I like white with back accents so have a full shadow trim on mineral white plus black interior.

It's worth mentioning tat mineral white is in fact the most expensive of the standard colours being TDI colour and pearlescent - expensive to touch up however

I pretty much have the same configuration in a 2020 X7 40i minus the "M" version. Plus I have the Vernasca Leather. Same wheels and wood trim as well as same color.

Arctic Metallic Gray is both blue and gray with varying hues, shades, and tones depending on the light. I can see two totally different colors from the left and right side of the car when the sun is one side and shade on the other side. Beautiful!

It was the only real contender after looking at all the other colors on the lot, and we saw them all.

One disadvantage, as stated previously, it is a darker color and you just can't avoid those swirl marks. Although, not nearly as bad as black.

On the upside, the different lighting conditions also hide those same swirl marks that you can see in other lighting. You do have to view it in different lighting to see flaws like swirl marks. That can sometimes make it hard to find the flaw unless you're in a certain lighting condition and angle. Both good and bad depending on the lighting and angle. I still love it either way!
