How to fix this luggage partition on my X5?

Hi, i bought a X5 recently and this below luggage divider was in the spare tyre section. How can i fix this one to the luggage compartment?

If what you have looks like the dividing net below...the section with the rod running through it should be at the top...and the ends of that rod should mount into locations near the headliner on each side of the car.

On my 540iT (wagon) and e53 X5...there were TWO locations on each side so that you could mount this net with the rear seat folded-up...or down. The hooks were fore and aft of the rear doors (#3/#4/#5/#6 in the diagram).

Once you have each end of the rod (at the top) in place...it should be clear as to where the adjustable belts & hooks should secure the bottom of the dividing net. You do see places where the hooks at the bottom of the net fit on the back of the rear seats, right?

The two knobs insert into the dedicated holes in the roof (behind plastic flaps).

The metal hooks go on the back of the seats and then you can adjust the tension.

I attached a screenshot from the Driver's Guide app. You can download a version in your own language and put in your VIN and it will show and explain all your options
