Blind spot

Has anyone noticed a bit of a blind spot in their G02? Even with the warning triangle occasionally I find there's a small blind spot on the driver side

Definitely especially on the left side, I always look to left before moving left. I feel like the warning signal should be bigger. I would like to see it around the whole edge of the mirror.

Ideally there would be an audio warning, similar to the sound of a front or rear sensor going off.

Leebmann24.de is one of the sources for the brand new mirrors, but I opted for a set from an accident vehicle...set ran me $280

Just checked Ebay. Found some there too. Be careful though, some didn't have all the options. The ones with all options seem to run around $120-140 per mirror (without shipping). I have a second set coming. One has a tiny scratch (see pic). Once they're here I'll sell the set for $250. Looks way worse in the picture than actually.

Have you retro fitted also the passenger mirror side with the aspherical n dimming mirror? I really want dimming mirror in my passenger side though I guess would have to change the wiring of the passenger mirror... thx

The passenger side is missing the necessary plug in the housing...and you'd have to get a british driver mirror

Quick question-

Does the Blind Spot Collision Warning, (the orange triangle in the side mirrors),
activate differently, (sooner or later), depending on the angle that the side mirror is set to?

In other words, would the warning activate earlier if the side mirror
were fully extended versus a mirror that was only partially extended?

Thanks

No. The sensors are fixed in the rear (inside the bumper), not in the mirrors.
