340mm M-sport dimpled and slotted rotors

Hey everyone. I have been searching all over trying to find an answer to this and nobody has anything definitive.

I have a 2013 335i with the stock M sport brakes. I purchased the M-performance rear brake setup (345mm/Red caliper/Dimple and slotted rotors) and am keeping the stock 340mm fronts.

Has anyone found a 340mm dimple and slotted front rotor that comes close to matching the rear 345mm bmw rotors?

Check out R1 Concepts. They've got what you need, and even offer a BimmerPost forum 30% discount. I just got four drilled rotors from them for $210

That's pretty cheap, how's the quality? Any known issues?

I've been buying rotors from R1 for over 10 years, on four different cars and I've never had an issue with quality.

Just installed these today. Zimmermann Formula F 2-piece 340mm rotors. I also have the 345mm set for the eventual rear upgrade.

I ended up ordering these. Identical to the 345mm upgraded performance rotors for the rear.

These rotors look great. Any new noises after installation?

Been raining non-stop here in Dallas so I plan to have them installed during the week.

I will make sure to do a full write up going over my experience with them.

I am pairing them with these Akebono pads, and I am curious if the ceramics will reduce the initial bite that I have been reading.

If I do not like them I will switch them out for the Hawk 5.0s

Is that what you are looking for?

Are there dimpled/slotted rotors for the rear or do you have to upgrade?

Aren't the dimpled and slotted noisy? My mechanic won't install them because he got too many noise complaints.

Slightly, especially with the ceramic pads but I wanted the upgraded performance rears so I needed to match the fronts. It is something I am willing to deal with because the look is so good.
