BMW CarData Report

I just found an option on the CD website to download a CarData Report from BMW. I've never seen this before, but decided to request it. Apparently, it can take up to 24 hours. Is this a new feature? If not, has anyone requested the report? I am interested to see what it contains.

I've been wondering about this kind of thing for a while. Many jurisdictions in the world have privacy laws now that require vendors to provide full data that has been collected on a consumer and to remove said data on request. And BMW connected services clearly collect an enormous amount of such data. Following ...

Must be related to the EU GDPR regs that any and all personal data collected must be made available to data owner and if requested have ability to delete it. Let us know what shows up in the report - perhaps GPS data, speed etc?

I'll keep you guys posted...waiting for it to populate. I just want to know if they can see me singing through the driver's attention camera. I love fumbling around on the CD portal...

ha sorry guys...it was boring! I was expecting some more data, and even a larger timeframe. it's essentially the connected drive app, but in a different, still crappy, format!
