Looks just like an X3 with a fake grille. I think that was pretty much expected though, right?

Looks like BMW listened to the complaints about the Kia grill and replaced it with a chrome separator down the middle, if only they'd listen to complaints about other models...

Shame this car has a terrible range, otherwise could have been a great offering from
BMW, especially in the current market of SUV's ruling the world.

As expected I think as others have said. Looks ok, forget the range specs etc but let's see.

Also, anyone getting Oakley Flak Jacket vibes...

I like it. Range is fine, not groundbreaking. Is this coming to the US or not?

No, likely to be exclusive to Europe and China. I'm curious to see what the price will be for this, that's one area where the EQC and E-Tron really do not excel with.

Very "meh" looking, specially with the hideous blue accents. They had the opportunity to do much better as an all new electrified platform.

Need to see a bastardized 'M' version of this already.

It's super sad BMW did absolutely nothing to really compete in this SUV-EV segment.

I am buying my wife a Tesla Model Y instead of this lousy attempt by BMW/BMWi.

I like it. I don't love it, but it's not nearly as horrible as the new M3/M4.

In our country the Hunday Kona Electric (2x4) is a very popular EV.
I'm sure there is a market for it here in our lowland regions (of course not in the mountains).

Some of did until the news they won't bring it to the US.

I was looking forward to leasing one to replace my i3. Despite inferior range and blah blah to Tesla, I would've happily taken this over a Model Y for BMW ergonomics.

Everything looks typical of other BMW SUVs in terms of design, but BMW seems to determined to majorly fuck something up. To the extent a single attribute would prevent me from even considering purchase.

With the M3 and M4, it's the tragic front grille - but nearly all the new BMW models have some oversized and cheap-looking front grille.

With this EV SUV, THE WHEELS ARE A COMPLETE JOKE! Just as they are with all their revealed EV offerings to date.

Is it coming from people who designed i8??
Car makers used to make electric cars look boring, now Bmw is going backward in design.

Actually i don't mind this one if the cost is right and the spec is just right this will compete with the kia e-niro witch has been gaining ground like crazy as of lately so this is welcomed news from BMW even if you don't like it.

While the looks are not surprising, it would have been a definite i3 replacement from us in WI if this came to the USA, even if only RWD was offered.

Hoping it might still make it to US shores, I like it.

It's interesting that so many people want an EV with 300 miles range but rarely use more than 100 miles. Batteries are the single heaviest and most expensive part in an EV. Significantly heavier and costlier than a combustion engine. Saving a bit of money and weight and optimizing by expected range seems to make the most sense.

I think that even if BMW does offer a larger battery option, the 74kwh version is the one that will sell the best. Considering Tesla usually overrates their real world mileage, I bet this would compare favorably to the Model Y standard range model anyway.
