X3 m40d with remap.

Not bad 1/4 mile for a diesel!

AM I being thick - the 0-60 (in the video 0-100) times don't look that great? And they appear to contradict the image times show afterwards.

Like - be super fast (like hyper olympics style - points if you remember that one ;-) in your pausing the YT video on 100kmh. It's around 4.7ish? I'm sure teaston said his was like 3.93 or thereabouts.

4.31" for 0-100(0-60mph is ~0.2" less always) sounds about right to me for a ~400ps diesel when stock X3M is 4,1".Was the 3,9 with a dragy app?
I have ordered a dragy and will try to do some runs soon out of curiosity..
12.40 1/4 mile is quite good IMO.

1st run 0-60mph on slightly wet surface and almost 1% uphill(stock m40d).

It was with the idrive M Laptimer app, using launch control with DTUK box on standard settings, although admittedly it was probably a 1-2% downhill slope, but was on winter tyres in the cold!

Good one!
I have heard good things about these DTE boxes.
Strange why the actual German site gives less gains in horsepower and torque compared to DT uk one...I thought they were same boxes.

They are the same boxes, the iPhone app for them is even the DTE app. DTUK claim they write the maps for theirs though, which could maybe be why the TUV certified, and warranty safe DTE boxes have lower gains?

Got mine dyno tuned by ES Racing here in Tallinn, Estonia. I only have J&R drop in air filter and stock car made 260kw/738nm, tuned 309kw/851nm. They also changed the sport dials to match the new power figures.

850nm!!

Put the oem air filter back in though, aftermarket air filters make zero improvements on a diesel, but can mess up the MAF.

Yeah, just wanted to try the filter since it makes turbos sound so good, JRs seem to have very little oil on them.
